Our Story

Hi, I’m Joshua Krafchick, the founder of The Millenial Slacker’s Guide. After graduating college and landing a corporate job, I quickly found that I was extremely unhappy. When I finally decided to make a change in 2017, I quit my corporate job and began a period of personal discovery and growth that made me 10x happier than my corporate job ever did. I quickly decided to pursue something that I am incredibly passionate about: safely guiding others through the world of personal finance.

I earned my Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) license, and I’ve been helping millenials to make solid financial decisions that will positively impact their lives for years to come. Since finances are only a small portion of adult life, I wanted an avenue to share topics about health and relationships in addition to the money and business stuff—thus The Millenial Slacker’s Guide was born.

As soon as I began to pursue work that I was passionate about, my energy and zest for life grew exponentially and I knew right away that I wanted to help others to discover the same level of fulfillment.

I hope that you find at least one of the articles on the blog helpful—and if you don’t—check out our reading page where we’ve got a short list of books that will make you think, change your perspective, and aid you in discovering yourself as an individual on this journey that we call life.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Slacking,

Joshua Krafchick, CRPC, EA
